Harley Rock Riders Tour Set for Grand Finale

The second Harley Rock Riders Tour is winding to a close and it’s been a massive four months. Since May, the tour has touched down in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad bringing rock fans the oomph and muscle of Harley-Davidson motorcycles together with high-energy performances from bands like Split, Half Step Down and Thermal and a Quarter. This is the 2nd edition of the tour that debuted last year with a tour that featured Indus Creed, Menwhopause, Indigo Children and Split.

A few of the A.R. Rahman’s compositions for Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming film Rockstar – which have been released online – are really getting a very positive response and audiences are eagerly awaiting the release of both the entire soundtrack and the film. A qawwali from the film, “Kung Faaya”, released a few days ago and now singer Mohit Chauhan and actor Ranbir Kapoor have performed a qawwali as a special music tribute at Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah in Delhi, India to seek blessings for their upcoming film.

Following the recent successes of memoirs by Keith Richards and Sammy Hagar (both #1 on the New York Times Bestseller list), rock legend Neil Young has announced he’s writing an autobiography. The book is titled Waging Heavy Peace and is due out in the fall of 2012, according to Rolling Stone.
