Singer Anushka Manchanda sure has plenty of things going on. She will sing for Midival Punditz’s upcoming project and also will be collaborating with composers Jigar-Sachin. In addition, she has formed an independent electro-pop band Shkabang and has performed with Ashu’s Petri Dish Project.
Shkabang consists of five musicians from different genres. The band is building a fan-following through digital media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Manchanda plans to release an album with her band later this year.
“Shkabang is made up of musicians who want to get on stage and play music,” said Manchanda. “The only motive of Shkabang is to have fun with sound and break the boundaries by pushing their limits.”
Manchanda has delivered several hits including “Golmaa,” “Mit Jaaye Gham-Dum Maaro Dum,” “Tu Saala” and “Behke Behke.”
